Spiro Pappas: Spiro is a graduate with Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws Degrees. Spiro was the driving force behind the trade mark practice of a large major law firm before becoming a principal of Chrysiliou IP. As an intellectual property lawyer, Spiro specialises in the protection of trade mark and IP rights. Spiro extensive experience in this area of practice included piracy control and IP enforcement. David Drew: David has a background of an expert patent searcher and as a valued patent attorney, he handles the IP of several major national and international companies, but especially enjoys working with SMEs. Since 2005, he has managed Chrysiliou Law’s Melbourne office. Michelle Gorton: Michelle is a graduate with a Bachelor of Laws degree. Michelle has specialised in Intellectual Property law since 1999, including two years experience in a medium boutique intellectual property firm in New York City and in two major law firms in Sydney. Gavin Doherty:
Gavin is registered patent attorney with over 15 years experience in
the handling and management of international patent applications from
both a regulatory and business perspective. With a background in
Government examining and reporting on patent applications filed by
national and international patent applicants., Gavin spent over 7
years applying this experience within industry, managing and developing
the world renowned I.P. portfolios for some of Australia’s most
innovative andsuccessful international companies, including Cochlear
Limited, Orbital Engine Corporation, and Silverbrook Research. Gavin
has spent the past 5 years representing the intellectual property
interests of a variety of local and international clients before
Australian and International patent offices. |
Allen Chan: Allen graduated with a honours degree in Material Science and Engineering from Imperial College, The University of London in England. On completion of his master's degree in chemical and materials engineering at The University of Auckland, Allen began his IP career in 2000 with one of the major IP firms in New Zealand. He relocated to Sydney in 2003 to join a top-tier law firm. Allen commenced at Chrysiliou IP in 2007 and is a registered patent and trade marks attorney and senior associate in the firm's patent team. Allen’s expertise is in materials science and engineering, with his practice including mechanical and chemical engineering, gaming technology, medical and dental devices, security and emergency equipment, manufacturing and packaging. Lincoln Chrysiliou: Lincoln is a qualified Trade Marks Attorney, with a property law qualification and background. He is also a licensed investigator. Lincoln speciality is in the piracy control and prevention field.
